The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at St. Joseph’s College of Engineering, in association with IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group SJCE SB (SBA60101), organized a health awareness session and mammogram test under the theme "Her Health Horizon."
Dr. M. Banu Priya, a distinguished Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist, was invited as the Chief Guest for the event. She holds MBBS, MD(RT), FIAMS, and a Ph.D. in Palliative Care, and has made significant contributions to the field of oncology.
Another esteemed guest, Dr. Anuradha Mahender, a retired HOD of Anaesthesia from Madras Medical College and a Consultant Anaesthesiologist, also graced the occasion.
The event was held on March 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the AV Hall, Library Block, St. Joseph’s College of Engineering.
This initiative aimed to spread awareness about women’s health, emphasizing early detection of diseases through mammogram tests and expert guidance from leading medical professionals. The college warmly welcomed the women staff and students of St. Joseph’s Group of Institutions to participate in this impactful session.

Today Our school students atten this HPV vaccination at privaram cancer hospital. It is very useful to all the students and they are doing healthy and social services.
